The robot is an amazing invention that man has ever made. For example,
in 1987, an American doctor, a surgeon, was able to instruct a robot from a New
York hospital to do an operation in Strasbourg, France. In the same year,
astronauts could pilot another robot to take pictures of the planet Mars.


It is incredible, isn’t it?


Robots are already capable of doing many difficult and dangerous jobs.
We can see them at home, in car factories, in mines and nuclear plants. They
are making our lives easier and more enjoyable.


Someday soon, I am sure scientists will be able to make robot cooks,
robot mechanics which will repair everything, robot house cleaners, robot
doctors and who knows? They might even make robot teachers.
